Degenerates,

It started in the summer of 2021. Where we met while working in Yellowstone National Park. Here we began a long friendship over fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. Our ideas grew as the years progressed. We always knew we wanted to start either our own guide outfitter or some type of equipment/tackle shop. As we traveled and began talking with guides and outdoorsmen, we realized that the common complaint between the outdoorsmen was the lack of information and writing that was available to the younger outdoor audience.

With little more than an idea and our shared love for the outdoors and conservation, we came together to make a dream a reality. That dream was to create a platform that would help both new outdoorsmen as well as support conservation for the animals and places we love. We hope that Degenerate Fish Hippies helps you in your outdoor adventures. It has always helped us. Remember, you are never lost if you are always found in the woods.
