“What the HAIL is goin’ on?” - Connor’s Dad

AUGUST ISSUE

Welcome Degenerates to our largest issue yet. We are proud of how far we have come and where are headed. We are excited as our company is expanding and we are here to share some of those new expansions with you. Connor, Coltin, and Joel are doing just fine in Yellowstone National Park. Their season is starting to slow down as the summer is coming to a close. They all are still fishing their days away and enjoying every chance they can get outside. Rod is currently fishing between the Alabama-Florida line, catching everything he can in the saltwater or rivers he comes across. All-in-all the boys are doing just fine as we move into the Fall season.

Some new things coming your way!

We now have a DFH Membership that is free to join. this includes receiving the Monthly Magazine straight to your email, Newsletters, and updates on our Merch Drops. Make sure to sign-up while it is still free. As for merch, we have T-shirts, koozies, decals, and wristbands available, and much more on the way. So that you can let everyone on the water know you are a degenerate angler and a slight disappointment at the family Thanksgiving gatherings.

We are also excited to share with you some great stories that we have been working on. DFH has been working to bring you real-world knowledge and collaborations to better assist outdoorsmen in their home states. We are interested in hearing their stories and learning more from the locals. If you have a story and want to have it told, reach out to us via the contact link on our website.

We have some big things for you in this issue. Coltin sat down with Guys Fishing Weekend to discuss Yellowstone National Park and DFH. Rod Interviewed Rowell on the River about Redeye Bass fishing in Alabama. We have several articles ranging from Vintage Fly Fishing to catching Hogs, and everything in between. We hope you enjoy this issue as much as we have working on it together.

Meet our Newest Team Members

Diego

Diego comes from Alabama, but he has called Yellowstone National Park home for the past few years. He works as a fishing guide in the Park. Some of his hobbies include Fishing, Fly Fishing, Hiking, Backpacking, and Camping. Diego comes from a Bass fishing background but fell in love with Trout fishing and specifically fly fishing while a resident of the Park. A hippie and degenerate at heart Diego is a true outdoorsman.

Billy

A true die-hard angler, and has been obsessed with marine life since he was in a crib. He was originally a bass fisherman, getting a start in the fishing industry with the launch of Baitfish2bass, which has since transitioned into Guardian Angler. He traveled around teaching the youth about fishing and the outdoors In the name of conservation. Since then, he has become an avid chaser of trophy-sized fish in all species; including catfish, crappie, walleye, bass, and even muskies, but he has still held onto his tree-hugging hippy roots. The working life has slowed his ambitions with Guardian Angler, but Billy still has the degenerate mind, and dreams of spreading his knowledge and eco-friendly ideas to the world.  Bass fishing is where his expertise lies, but musky has truly taken over his heart.

Coltin On Guys Fishing Weekly Podcast

Coltin sits down on Guys Fishing Weekly Podcast to discuss the importance of staying young, wildlife biology and conservation, and the DFH Mission. Watch the podcast now on Guys Fishing Weekend.
