The Guardian Angler and Colt are tackling Sugar Creek on the kayaks. Targeting Small Mouth Bass, Spotted Bass, and Large Mouth Bass. From bald eagles flying overhead, to having to walk the kayaks upriver. It was an absolute ball!
Colt has a week left in the park. He decided on one of his last weekends to hit up the Lamar River on the Northeast side of the park. The gang of fish hippies barely go up there because it takes us an hour to get to the place to park. Plus, the time to go hike it.
On this Yellowstone backcountry adventure Colt heads out to one of the boys' favorite spots for them purdy Artic Grayling. Once he arrived from hiking the trails in, he comes to see the lake with a bit of wind and no top water action.
Carter and Coltin are once again hitting the water to try and get carter the achievement of the Yellowstone Grand Slam.
Cian, Colt, Tori, Maggie, and Tori's mother hike out to one of the most productive alpine lakes in Yellowstone.

Colt is chasing some of the biggest Artic Grayling found in Yellowstone National Park. Luckily the dragon flies were helping the man out. The dragon fly hatch was making these fish target the surface of the water.
If you see fish rising or focusing on certain insects. Try to imitate that bug as best as possible. If you see blue dragon flies, tie on a blue dry fly. Simple angler math lol!

Rod’s dad catches a big Redear Sunfish on the fly! Fly fishing for Panfish is always a fun way to spend an afternoon.
In this video we try and create a quick fly that mimics the specific insects that we have been seeing around the pond. This fly is a basic pattern that takes maybe 2 minutes to create. It worked well for the pond, hope it gives you some ideas oh what to tie next!
